Three tiers.

A singular goal.

Because every situation and individual has different security needs, J Blair Group employs three tiers of agents to meet any requirement with the utmost efficiency. No matter the tier, every agent exhibits an unmatched level of professionalism and discretion. To ensure our services are of the highest caliber, we require continuing education of the teams that are responsible for our clients’ safety and security. JBG’s agent requirements and protocols ensure a level of service that is unsurpassed in the industry.

TIER3AGENTS

These agents are primarily engaged in security for events, studio sets, location productions, high-end hotels, and other restricted access venues. Additionally, our Tier Three agents meet the following requirements: State guard card, CPR/AED, AVERT (Active Shooter and Preventive medical), OSHA Fire Safety, JBG Security Foundation Course, and completion of a minimum of 32 hours of yearly continuing education.

TIER2AGENTS

Tier Two Agents have been trained for domestic armed or unarmed security. These agents work on residential, corporate, asset protection, and construction survey security. All JBG site Security Managers or Assistant Security Managers are Tier Two agents. In addition to meeting Tier Three requirements, these agents possess a State Exposed Firearm Permit (as necessary), Relevant Conceal Carry Permits (if EFP is not needed, must have State Conceal Carry), and Trauma Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), as well as completion of 40 hours of yearly of continuing education.

TIER1AGENTS

Tier One Agents are assigned as Close Protection. In addition to graduating from a J Blair Group approved Executive Protection Course or Law Enforcement Academy. Many of these agents offer experience and training in areas such as military, special operations, law enforcement, and international travel security—with special knowledge on real time security risk profiles. Along with Federal and State mandated certifications and the requirements of Tier one and two, agents must complete sixty hours of yearly continuing education and a series of JBG training modules before the start of every detail. JBG provides extensive training in soft skills which include: de-escalation tactics, professionalism, and etiquette, just to name a few. Tier One operative’s skillsets ensure they possess the first responder skills needed for any situation that may arise.
